Board of Trustees

The president of State Fair Community College works closely with the six elected members of the Board of Trustees, who are elected by voters in the taxing districts of Pettis and Benton counties, to develop policies necessary for the governance of the college’s educational and administrative responsibilities.

The board delegates to the president the responsibility of implementing all policies and appraises the effectiveness of policy implementation through evaluation of school operations, practices and program outcomes.

Trustees serve six-year terms and typically meet at 5:30 p.m. the fourth Thursday of each month, except December, or otherwise posted. The general public may attend in-person or watch online via SFCC's YouTube channel.
