The six elected members of the Board of Trustees develop policies necessary for the governance of State Fair Community College’s educational and administrative responsibilities. The board delegates to the president the responsibility of implementing all policies and appraises the effectiveness of policy implementation through evaluation of school operations, practices and program outcomes.

The Board of Trustees met at 4 p.m. April 14 in Charles E. Yeater Learning Center lobby for a special general session. The meeting welcomed the addition of Tom Oldham and Amie Breshears and the re-election of Tim Carr. This meeting brought to a close the services of Randy Eaton (12 years) and Nick La Strada. State Fair Community College extends sincere appreciation to Eaton and La Strada for their dedication and service. New officers were elected for the new year: Patty Wood, president; Richard Parker; vice-president;  Justin Hubbs; treasurer; Tim Carr, secretary.
