Communiversity – the blending of State Fair Community College and Central Methodist University! Because of a partnership with CMU, SFCC students can earn Bachelor of Arts or Science degrees close to home.
BreAnna Peck, a 2016 graduate of Green Ridge High School, completed SFCC’s Dental Hygiene program in 2018. She received CMU’s Gulstad Transfer Scholarship and is majoring in Health Sciences on the Sedalia campus.
SFCC students can earn bachelor or master’s degrees from CMU in several disciplines close to home on three SFCC campuses or online.

Gulstad Transfer Scholarship
Named after long-time CMU Provost Dr. Rita Gulstad, the scholarship is specifically designed for community college students who want to complete a four-year degree. See a CMU site coordinator for more information and/or an application.
Clinical Counseling Center
Free counseling is available on the Sedalia campus for all SFCC students through a partnership with Central Methodist University. The center is staffed with graduate students who are in their final year of CMU’s counseling program and are under the supervision of the practicum instructor, clinical supervisor and the clinical director.
