This test is offered in Sedalia only.
If you want to pursue a career or continue your education, then getting your high school credential is the most important step you can take. Colleges and many employers require one. The HISET exam, an alternative to the GED High School Equivalency (HSE) test, can help you obtain this important state-issued high school equivalency credential.
Your skills and knowledge are measured in five core areas that make up the five HiSET subtests: Language Arts–Reading, Language Arts–Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. The test is six hours long if taken in its entirety. Scores for the multiple-choice test are posted within three to five business days; scores for the written test are posted within six to 10 business days.
