Ready to get started with an online education? The following links have information on how to apply to SFCC online, tuition and financial aid. If you’re new to Canvas, view the Canvas ITS Knowledge Base to get started.

Admission Application

Access the online admissions application and submission guidelines to apply.

Advising and Enrolling

Three business days after you have submitted the online admissions application, you will receive an email from Admissions and Outreach with your User ID and password. This email will also give you instructions on how to log in to mySTAR and find the registration tools for enrolling in classes.

Paying for College

Submit the Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) to apply for federal grants and loans at the same time you apply for admission. Apply early to ensure that your aid will be in place by fall semester; you can apply as early as Oct. 1 for the following year. You will need information from your federal tax returns of two years ago (2015 information if you are applying for 2017 enrollment) to complete the FASFA. Visit Financial Aid Services for a link to the FAFSA application and more information about financial aid and SFCC scholarships.

A federal financial aid application is good for one academic year. You will need to submit the FAFSA and apply for aid each year you attend college.
