Learn YOUR WAY at State Fair Community College with three different learning options to fit your life. Enroll in classes on campus, online, or in hybrid delivery (a combination of on-campus and online instruction).
State Fair Community College has courses on ground at all six of its campus locations: Sedalia, Boonville, Clinton, Eldon, Lake of the Ozarks and Whiteman Air Force Base. On-campus classes are ideal for learners who need live interaction with instructors and classmates.
Online courses at State Fair Community College offer learners the option of taking classes on their time. Students are taught in a structured online environment with deadlines and feedback inside Canvas, the college’s online learning management system. Whether it is during your lunch hour or in the middle of the night, all course requirements including, quizzes, communications, and assignments will be completed electronically.
Hybrid courses include both on-campus and online learning. Hybrid courses meet regularly in person and online. This means students do part of the course requirements online using Canvas. Every course is different, so requirements vary based on the subject and the instructor. Some hybrid courses may incorporate video-conferencing into the curriculum using Zoom.
