Accessing Canvas

  • You can access Canvas from Okta at https://sfccmo.okta.com and then selecting the Canvas chicklet
  • There is a phone and tablet application for most devices
  • If using a browser, use Chrome, Firefox or Edge; Safari on iOS devices is not supported
  • Log in using your network user name (e.g., rroadrunner68) and password
  • If you need help accessing Okta or logging in, please contact the SFCC Help Desk at (866) 295-3070. They are available 24/7 to answer questions and troubleshoot technical errors.

Student Training

  • Available 24/7 in a self-paced format.
  • The Student Orientation card appears on your Canvas Dashboard. If the card does not display, select the Courses menu option below the Dashboard and choose “All Courses”. Select the Star Icon to set a course(s) as your favorite(s). This option is excellent for maintaining a clean Dashboard.

Checklist for New Students

  • Log in to Okta at https://sfccmo.okta.com 
  • Complete the Roadrunner Ready Student Orientation training – click on the course in your Canvas dashboard to begin
  • Review your courses; each course is represented by a course card
  • Review the course welcome/home page
  • Review the course syllabus
  • Click Modules in the course navigation menu to access your learning activities and assignments

FAQs

Q: When will my course(s) appear in Canvas?

A:  Your upcoming course(s) will appear in Canvas three days before the start date of your course. If you have questions, cannot connect to the publisher’s website or do not see course content, please contact your instructor for the course. 

Q:  I need help with Canvas.  Who do I contact?

A:  Reach out to your instructor first for any instructional questions. You can also reach out to the SFCC Help Desk for technical issues:
