Campus Tours
For anyone interested in learning more about SFCC
Specific days and times
These tours are for individuals, families and groups of students (10 maximum). Prospective students will learn more about SFCC’s programs and services and take a longer campus tour, including the Potter-Ewing Agriculture Building and Residence Hall. Faculty and/or navigators will provide a brief introduction (less than 10 minutes). Plan to spend at least an hour and a half with SFCC representatives. Tours leave promptly from Student Services in the Hopkins Student Services Center.
Roadrunner Preview Days
For high school juniors and seniors
Check in: 8:30 a.m.
End: 1:30 p.m.
You will get a chance to see all we have to offer by interacting with faculty and staff and meeting your navigator! Lunch will be provided. Faculty will provide interactive sessions that showcase their different clusters, including Arts and Communications; Business and Information Technology; Natural Resources and Agriculture; Health Services; Human Services; and Industrial Technology and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math education).
Career Exploration Days
For school counselors and their students ready to explore careers
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Visitors can tour the campus and participate in hands-on activities and explore a variety of career options. Faculty will provide interactive activities will showcase their programs of study. Recommended for grades seven through 10.
Career Day
For high school students, their counselors and career professionals
Annually, fall
A high-energy, fast-paced on-campus opportunity for high school students in grades 9-10 to gain exposure to careers and interact with professionals in many areas.
