Sedalia, Missouri – State Fair Community College’s Admissions and Outreach on the Sedalia campus will extend business hours to 6 p.m. Jan. 6-9 for enrollment in spring classes; offices open at 8 a.m. Those who want to apply for admission and enroll may go to Student Services in Hopkins Center on the Sedalia campus. Admission applications are free.

Spring semester begins Jan. 13; enrollment closes at 11:59 p.m. Jan. 12 for 16- and first eight-week classes. Classes are offered in Sedalia, Boonville, Clinton, Eldon, Lake of the Ozarks, Warsaw, Whiteman Air Force Base, and online. Go to www.sfccmo.edu/searchforclasses to view the class schedule.

From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 6-9, prospective students can submit admissions documents, receive assistance from Financial Aid, meet with academic advisors, enroll in classes, submit paperwork such as enrollment verification and graduation applications, pay for classes, and take placement tests. SFCC’s office hours on Friday, Jan. 10, will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

New students may apply online free at www.sfccmo.edu/admissions. For assistance, email admissions@sfccmo.edu. Returning students may contact their navigators before enrolling to ensure they are selecting the classes needed to complete their certificates or degrees. 

SFCC offers more than 70 transfer, career or technical associate degrees or short-term certificates in agriculture, business and computers, health sciences, human services, and industrial technology. Associate transfer degrees allow students to complete their first two years at SFCC before continuing to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree.
