The Proctor Library is a great place to study, do research or just relax and think. It has more than 40,000 books and videos, print and electronic journals and academic databases.

SFCC Students in Library Studying
You can access materials via Avalon, which searches shared catalogs from SFCC, Missouri Valley College, University of Central Missouri, and Central Methodist University. If you can’t find your resource there, you can borrow materials from any library in Missouri through the MOBIUS system. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, use the interlibrary loan form found in mySTAR > Library to request it from any library in the country.

LibGuides

Resources on SFCC’s LibGuides site are built by library staff to help you through the research process. Find guides by subject, type or owner. Contact library staff if you need further assistance.

Rooms for Use (reserved space)

The Proctor Library offers a variety of study spaces you can reserve for working on group projects, special assignments, etc.

Textbooks

Thanks to a mini-grant from the SFCC, the Donald Proctor Library now offers SFCC Textbooks to students. Patrons may check out textbooks for use within the library only. Availability may be limited and conditions may apply. See the front desk for details.
