State Fair Speedway recently made a generous contribution in support of State Fair Community College’s Automotive Technology program.

Larry McCown of State Fair Speedway presented the check to the SFCC Foundation Office earlier this month. The gift was received by SFCC Foundation Director Mary Treuner and Brent Bates, SFCC president. Also present were Kyle Weymuth and Kyle Herrick.

This marks State Fair Speedway’s second recent donation to the college. Earlier this year, State Fair Speedway contributed $1,000 to SFCC’s “Driving Growth, Harvesting Tomorrow” capital campaign in support of the Center for Advanced Agriculture & Transportation Technology (CAATT). These gifts reflect continued commitment to hands-on education and workforce development in the region.

“We appreciate State Fair Speedway’s ongoing partnership and investment in our students,” Treuner said. “Support like this helps ensure our Automotive Technology program remains strong, current and aligned with the needs of today’s industry.”
