State Fair Community College will hold its spring commencement at 6 p.m. May 16 at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the Missouri State Fairgrounds, 2503 W. 16th St. The ceremony will honor students who completed graduation requirements in the fall and spring semesters.

Kyle Weymuth, a 2006 SFCC graduate and native of Cole Camp, will serve as commencement speaker and receive the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award. Weymuth is the Dealer Principal and Owner of the W-K Family of Dealerships, a fourth-generation business founded in 1919 by his great-grandfather. He has continued the family’s legacy of excellence and community trust. Weymuth’s passion for the automotive industry began at an early age. Today, his leadership reflects a strong commitment to relationships, service and integrity.

In addition to his business role, Weymuth is active in civic life. He serves as treasurer of the SFCC Foundation Board and is a member of the Missouri Auto Dealers Association Executive Committee and the Sedalia Economic Development Board. A former Roadrunner basketball player, Weymuth credits SFCC for providing a strong academic and personal foundation. He and his wife, Kelli, are raising their children, Kellen and Klara Jo, with the same community values that shape his life and work.
