State Fair Community College has partnered with ReUp Education to support adult learners seeking to return to college and complete a degree or credential.
According to the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, more than 43 million Americans have attended college without earning a degree or credential. Through the partnership, SFCC aims to identify and engage former students who may be interested in resuming their education.
Founded in 2015, ReUp Education works with colleges and universities to help institutions reconnect with adult learners who have paused their studies. The organization uses data analytics, technology and coaching services to support re-enrollment efforts.
As part of the partnership, ReUp will provide SFCC with data insights and recommendations related to adult learner engagement, enrollment and retention. The company will also work directly with prospective and returning students throughout the re-enrollment process.
Students who return to SFCC through the program will have access to support from ReUp coaches as well as the college’s academic advising services. These resources are intended to assist students as they navigate enrollment requirements, academic planning and progress toward degree completion.
The partnership is part of SFCC’s ongoing efforts to increase educational access and support student success among adult learners in the region.
