State Fair Community College (SFCC) has announced a classroom in the newly named Steve and Karen Ellebracht Agriculture and Mechanics building will be named after Gene Scotten. The contribution is part of SFCC’s Driving Growth, Harvesting Tomorrow capital campaign, which raised $20 million for the construction of the 60,000-square-foot facility.
“Gene Scotten’s dedication to education and our community is truly commendable,” said Mary Treuner, foundation executive director. “His support will have a lasting impact on our students and programs.”
The newly named classroom will serve as a dynamic learning environment for students pursuing careers in agriculture and mechanics.
This gift contributes to SFCC’s Driving Growth, Harvesting Tomorrow capital campaign, focused on expanding and enhancing educational facilities and opportunities.
