State Fair Community College Agriculture students invite the community to celebrate student achievements at the Ag Literacy Project, an informative and engaging event on May 3 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Thompson Conference Center on the Sedalia campus.

The free event will feature 25 students presenting and demonstrating their insights and understanding garnered from their research of the importance of agriculture in the community, share innovative strategies, and promote awareness and education about agriculture.

SFCC’s Agriculture program offers certificates and degrees in agribusiness, agronomy, animal science, and horticulture, and an Associate of Arts transfer degree. A combination of classroom hours and occupational internships prepares students to enter the job market.
