High school district music festival for soloists and small ensembles. Held under the auspices of MSHSAA, State Fair Community College plays host to this event that brings about 1,000 students from 30 high schools to campus over a two-day period. Those performances earning a "superior" rating qualify for the state festival.

A special event to help fund construction of SFCC's technical education facility
TRiO will be holding a self defense workshop led by Deputy Hockaday and Maryanne Townsend. The workshop will be focused on techniques used to defend yourself if put into a situation where your life may be at danger.
Teams of 3-6 people compete in a fun night of trivia.
The State Fair Community College Board of Trustees meets at 11 a.m. the fourth Tuesday of each month, except in December, in the board room of William C. Hopkins Student Services Center. The meeting is open to the public.
