Electrical hazards are the root of countless fatalities and injuries in the workplace. State Fair Community College’s The LearningForce will offer a four-hour refresher course, delivered by an OSHA authorized outreach trainer, that addresses the importance of electrical safety.

Participants can attend either an 8 a.m. to noon session on Sept. 10 at SFCC-Clinton Campus or Oct. 1 at Sedalia campus. Cost is $149 per person. Class size is limited; early enrollment is recommended.

Some of the topics covered are recognizing, evaluating and controlling electrical hazards; safe work environment and practices; and OSHA and NFPA 70E requirements.
