Trustees of the Sylvia G. Thompson Charitable Trust in August presented the fourth disbursement of a $705,000 pledge to the State Fair Community College Foundation in support of SFCC’s night/weekend nursing program. The money helps fund two faculty positions and one-half of an administrative assistant position for the program until 2018. The trust previously funded the expansion of the two-year nursing program with a contribution of $670,000.
