Sedalia, MissouriMay 5, 2021 – State Fair Community College’s The LearningForce will offer Microsoft Excel level 2 training May 19 in Fielding Technical Center, Room 200, on the Sedalia campus. Participants may choose to attend the morning session from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or the afternoon session from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Missouri One Start grant funds from the Missouri Department of Economic Development for current grand holders may be available to offset the cost of training, which is $159 per person. 

This course is for individuals who have completed an SFCC Microsoft Excel level 1 course or for those who have foundational Excel knowledge such as how to create, worksheets and workbooks; change views and configurations; print and distribute worksheets and workbooks; manage data cells and ranges; create tables, charts and objects, and perform operations with formulas and functions. 

In the level 2 course, participants will learn how to save a workbook as a template, reference data using structured references or data in another workbook, protect workbook from editing, and prepare a workbook for internationalization. Working with macros and applying custom data formats and validation and advanced conditional formatting and filtering also will be covered.
