Warsaw, Missouri, Jan. 24  The State Fair Community College Adult Education and Literacy program announces the revival of the High School Equivalency (HiSET/GED) preparatory class in Benton County. AEL invites the community to an open house event on Monday, Feb. 12, from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Warsaw Community of Christ Church, located at 130 Lillie Lane.  

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the program and meet Amber Glenn, the instructor, and April Godwin, the Adult Education and Literacy program director. Both bring a wealth of experience in adult education. 

Class sessions are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. on a weekly basis. This schedule is designed to accommodate the diverse needs of adult learners in the Benton County area. The classes aim to provide comprehensive preparation for the HiSET exams, opening doors to new educational and career opportunities.
