April Young, Radiologic Technology program director at State Fair Community College, was awarded the Missouri Society of Radiologic Technologists (MoSRT) Award of Excellence at its annual conference on April 12 in Columbia.
The statewide award is presented to a technologist for outstanding contributions to MoSRT that are beyond normal participation within the society. MoSRT Board of Directors nominate candidates and vote to determine the winner.
Young currently serves as the MoSRT secretary and chairs the Essays and Ways and Means committees.
