Today’s employers are looking for well-rounded individuals that have a variety of skills to meet the demands and expectations of today’s global marketplace. Whether you are looking to work in a support position, supervisory role, or possibly start your own business, we have the coursework and resources to help you achieve your goals. Our comprehensive program focuses on computer technology, financial knowledge, goal-setting, leadership, ethics, and communication skills.

Our program works with area business leaders to offer the ideal framework to help you develop the skills and competencies you need to be successful—a rigorous class schedule and an optional two-month internship that allows you to apply the principles you’ve learned in a real-world setting.

This program can be completed in a variety of formats including completely online. Our faculty is committed to providing a quality online experience to better prepare you for the digital environment that businesses are operating in today.

Some common skills and abilities needed for this program include computer literacy; organizational and planning skills; critical-thinking and problem-solving skills; leadership; strong communication skills in speaking and writing; and the ability to work with a team.

If you are wanting to go on and achieve your Bachelor’s degree, we work closely with Missouri 4 year schools to articulate courses for a successful transfer.

Occupational Outlook

Jobs are abundant in the management field. Employment opportunities include entry-level positions in bookkeeping, banking, human resources management, first line supervision, insurance, retail and sales management, food service management, data entry, and government office clerk. Salaries range from $19,700 to $42,000.
