State Fair Community College and the Missouri Career Center are seeking area employers to share information and interact with potential employees at a Job Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 19 in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on SFCC’s Sedalia campus.

Registration is $25 for one five-foot table and two chairs. Registration will close on Sept. 11. Exhibitors may begin setting up at 8 a.m. on Sept. 19. A designated area will be available for attendees to complete applications and for exhibitors to conduct on-site interviews. Lunch will be provided.

“The Job Fair is a great event that connects our students and community members with local and regional employers,” said Susan Nelson, SFCC Career and Transfer Services coordinator. “The fair provides employers the opportunity to showcase their businesses and organizations, and we encourage them to come and recruit applicants for their companies and businesses.

“In addition to the fair, State Fair Community College has implemented a new online platform for job posting and outreach for employers. Employers can simply visit collegecentral.com/sfccmo to create a free user profile and post any job openings they may have. This site is great for employers to connect with our students, list current job openings and provides our students with a large database of job opportunities.”

For more information or to register, contact Nelson at (660) 596-7306 or snelson9@sfccmo.edu.
