SFCC-Clinton Information Night

July 12, 3:00 pm-7:00 pm

| Free

If you’re ready to get started at SFCC in Clinton this fall, come see the Clinton campus

Residents in the Clinton area who are thinking about college or changing careers can learn more from 3-7 p.m. July 12 and Aug. 2 at the State Fair Community College-Clinton campus, 1701 N. 2nd Street, across from Golden Valley Memorial Hospital.

At these come-and-go events, SFCC staff will hand out information and answer questions about the programs and support services available at the Clinton campus. Attendees can learn how to apply for admission and how to access federal, state and private student aid to pay for college. Those attending also can enter a drawing to win a three-credit-hour scholarship, a $480 value. Attendees may register (not required) at www.sfccmo.edu/event/clinton-information-night.

People can even enroll in fall classes that begin Aug. 20 and Sept. 4 if they bring a few documents with them. Call (660) 383-1600, email clinton@sfccmo.edu or stop by the campus to find out what to bring.

At SFCC-Clinton, students can earn an Associate of Arts (AA) degree for transfer to a four-year college, an Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT) degree, an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Business Management with two specialties: Management and Office Management; AAS degrees in Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Development, Medical Assisting, and a Professional Certificate in Medical Assisting. Students also can take classes for programs offered at other SFCC locations and online.

Because of a partnership with Central Methodist University (CMU), students attending SFCC-Clinton also can earn Bachelor of Arts or Science degrees in Accounting, Applied Science in Management, Business, Child Development, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, General Studies, Middle School Education, Psychology, RN to BSN, Sociology, and Special Education. People also can take CMU classes for personal or professional enrichment without seeking a degree. CMU representatives will be at each event to answer questions.
