At State Fair Community College, we believe everyone is a learner!

Whether you are an employer who is looking for training for your employees, an individual who wants additional career skills, someone who seeks personal enrichment, or an entrepreneur who wants help with a small business, we have a vast array of courses available at your business, online and on campus. We also offer Kids College in the summer to keep kids learning during their break.

Small Business & Technology Development Center 

State Fair Community College is home to a resource designed to support regional entrepreneurs and small businesses and help them be successful!

Launched in August 2016, the SFCC Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) can provide entrepreneurs with leading-edge resources, including assistance with business plan development, financial projections, marketing, international trade, market analysis, training, etc. Services are provided free or for nominal cost.   

Classes include but are not limited to:

  • How to Build a Business Plan
  • Business Structure
  • QuickBooks
  • Social Media Marketing for Small Business

The SBTDC is part of Missouri’s network of centers, made possible by a funding partnership through the federal Small Business Administration (SBA), the University of Missouri Extension and SFCC.

SFCC is only the second Missouri community college to establish an SBTDC.
