Customized Training Solutions for Business and Industry
The LearningForce partners with employers to solve workforce problems through customized, short-term training that supports workforce development, upskilling for new and existing workers, professional development, and economic growth throughout SFCC's 14-county service area.
Supporting Economic Development
As the administrator of Missouri Department of Economic Development Missouri One Start grants and projects, The LearningForce helps connect employers with training resources that strengthen businesses and the regional workforce.
Resources for Small Businesses
Through the Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at SFCC, entrepreneurs and small business owners can access training, mentoring, and business resources to start, grow, and strengthen their businesses.
Continuing Education & Professional Development
The LearningForce offers non-credit professional development and continuing education taught by industry experts. Many courses are also available to SFCC faculty and staff at a discounted rate when minimum enrollment requirements are met.

Workforce Training
The LearningForce at State Fair Community College partners with businesses across our 14-county service area to listen to workforce problems, design and deliver solutions that can solve those problems, including building skills for new and existing workers, and helping organizations remain competitive in their marketplace.
Missouri Small Business Development Center
Missouri Small Business Development Center at SFCC provides resources, training and mentoring services to much of the college’s service area.
Commercial Driving Academy
State Fair Community College offers the region’s leading Class A CDL truck driver training program, designed by employers to put you in the driver’s seat and on the road to a great job.
Motorcycle Safety Courses
If you have always wanted to ride a motorcycle, the basic class is for you! Motorcycle safety will cover the basics to get you started in the exhilarating and fun world of motorcycle riding. Advanced motorcycle rider training is also available.
Healthcare Program
The 8-week Certified Nursing Assistant and paramedic training programs provide preparation for employment in a variety of healthcare settings, combining essential skills with real-world healthcare experience.
