Dental Hygiene Clinic
Quality Dental Care for Our Community
The SFCC Dental Hygiene Clinic provides affordable, high-quality oral healthcare to community members while giving State Fair Community College Dental Hygiene students valuable hands-on experience.
Located in the Clinical Sciences Building on SFCC's Sedalia campus, the state-of-the-art clinic allows students to provide comprehensive, evidence-based dental hygiene care under the supervision of experienced instructors. A supervising dentist is also available for consultations and referrals when needed.
Dental Hygiene Services

- Assess patients' oral health
- Provide dental hygiene treatment
- Educate patients about oral health and preventive care
- Assess and treat patients with periodontal disease
By visiting the clinic, you're not only taking an active role in your oral health, you're also helping prepare the next generation of dental hygiene professionals.

What to Expect at Your Appointment
Because the Dental Hygiene Clinic is an educational environment, appointments work a little differently than a traditional dental office.
Appointments are offered twice per day on clinic days, which vary by semester. Patients should plan to be available for approximately two to three hours per appointment. This allows students to provide thorough care while instructors evaluate the procedures they perform.
Depending on your individual treatment needs, more than one appointment may be required to complete your care.
