Technology and Study Spaces

The library provides a variety of technology and learning spaces to support student success, including:

  • 14 public computers
  • Color and black-and-white printing
  • Document scanners
  • Collaborative and individual study rooms
  • VHS/DVD viewing station

Need additional tools for class projects? Students may also borrow select special-use items, including:

  • Kindle e-readers
  • Digital cameras
  • Calculators
  • Office supplies and other equipment



Course Textbooks

To help reduce educational costs, the library maintains a limited collection of course textbooks, primarily for core classes. These materials are available for library use only and cannot be checked out.

If your course requires new materials not available in the library, please use the following purchase request form.

Family-Friendly Learning Space

The library includes a dedicated Children's Area, providing a welcoming space for student parents and families visiting campus.



Community Patron Library Cards

Residents of Pettis and Benton counties who are 18 years of age or older may obtain a Community Patron Library Card.

To register, visit the library and provide:

  • A current photo ID
  • Proof of address (such as a utility bill)

Community Patron Benefits

Community patrons may:

  • Check out up to three books at a time
  • Borrow materials for up to 30 days
  • Access library computers and the internet

Please note: Community patrons may not check out DVDs or non-circulating reference materials.

How do I check my account status and renew books?
Log into the Library Catalog & Account portal with your campus credentials to view due dates and renew materials 

How do I request books from other libraries?
Use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to request items not in our collection. You will receive an email notification when your materials are ready for pickup 

Who can use the library and check out items?
Currently enrolled students, faculty and staff can borrow materials by presenting a valid campus ID. Residents of Benton and Pettis County can get a community patron card to check out books and use computers. 

How do I access library databases off campus?
When off campus, simply log in through the Library Proxy Server using your campus username and password when prompted. 

Where can I get help with my citations?
Visit the Citations & Writing Guide fr examples on APA, MLA, and Chicago formats, or schedule and appointment with a librarian or writing tutor.  

How do I find peer reviewed articles for my paper?
Use the main discovery search on the Library Homepage and apply the “Peer-Reviewed” to filter your results.

How do I connect to the campus Wi-Fi in the library?
Connect your devices to the Roadrunners network using your campus credentials (username and password).  

Can I reserve a study room?
Yes! You can call, visit or email to set up a meeting room reservation.  

How do I print, copy or scan documents?
Printers are located near the circulation desk. Send your documents to the print queue and release them using your campus credentials (username and password).
