Each suite includes a kitchenette, comfortable common living area, and modern amenities

have the option to choose from the 10-meal or 19-meal dining plans.

Traditional Residence Hall Living
The Residence Hall features traditional-style housing with:
Two students per room.
Coed living with separate wings for men and women.
Community-style restrooms and showers for each wing.
Each room is furnished with:
Twin-size bunk beds (beds cannot be separated).
Two desks.
Two chairs.
Two wardrobes.
Shared sink and mirror.
Built-in Wi-Fi.
Individual HVAC unit.

Residence hall room sizes vary slightly by wing:
East Wing (Men's Hall): Approximately 11' × 15' (165 square feet).
West Wing (Men's Hall): Approximately 11' × 14' (154 square feet).
North Wing (Women's Hall): Approximately 11' × 13' (143 square feet).
Residence Hall Amenities
Residents have access to a variety of amenities that make campus living comfortable

Meal plans are required for all students living in Campus Housing. Students living
in suite-style Residence Hall II may choose between a 10- or 19-meal plan. Students
living in the traditional Residence Hall are required to have the 19-meal plan.
Housing applications for the Fall and Spring semesters open March 1 each year. Completing a housing application does not guarantee a housing assignment, as space is limited.
Follow these steps to apply for on-campus housing at SFCC.
Step 1: Apply for Admission to SFCC
Before you can apply for housing, you must first be admitted to State Fair Community
College.
Complete the SFCC admissions application.
Receive your student account information and access to the Okta Dashboard.
Step 2: Complete the Housing Application
Log in to your Okta Dashboard and select Housing Cloud to begin your housing application.
You'll need to:
Complete the online housing application.
Pay the $50 nonrefundable housing application fee.
Or upload it through the housing application, if available.
Your meningococcal immunization record must be received before your application can
move to the next phase.
If housing reaches capacity, you will be notified through your SFCC email if you have
been placed on a waiting list.
Step 3: Find a Roommate
Once your application is complete, you'll move into the roommate matching phase.
Housing Cloud will recommend potential roommates based on your housing preferences
and questionnaire responses. You can communicate with other students through the system
until you've found a roommate and, if applicable, additional suitemates who are a
good fit.
Step 4: Select Your Room
During the room selection phase, you and your chosen roommate must select the same room to reserve your space.
Residence Life will review and confirm your room selection before finalizing your
housing assignment.
If you have not selected a room by July 31, Residence Life will assign your room and roommate beginning August 1 for the fall semester.
Once your assignment is finalized, you'll receive an email to your SFCC student email
account with:
Your housing assignment.
Roommate information.
Check-in details.
Move-in instructions.
A list of recommended items to bring.
Step 5: Connect with Your Roommate
Before move-in day, reach out to your roommate to introduce yourself and coordinate
what each of you will bring to your room or suite.
Housing Cloud and your SFCC student email are the best ways to communicate before
arriving on campus.
Step 6: Move In
On your scheduled move-in day:
Check in with Residence Life.
Meet your Resident Assistant (RA).
Pick up your room key.
Get help from SFCC faculty, staff, and student volunteers during move-in.
After check-in, all residents are required to attend a mandatory residence hall meeting
to learn about community expectations, campus resources, and residence life policies.
