Get a Head Start on College

Why wait until after high school to start earning college credit? SFCC Dual Credit and Dual Enrollment give high school students the opportunity to take college-level courses, save money on tuition, and get a head start toward a college degree.

Courses are available during the fall, spring, and summer semesters, giving you flexible options to begin your college journey while completing high school.

What's the Difference?

Dual Credit courses are taught at your high school or Career and Technical Center by instructors approved by SFCC. When you successfully complete the course, you earn both high school and college credit.

Dual Enrollment courses are taught by SFCC faculty at an SFCC campus or online. You'll earn college credit and may also receive high school credit with approval from your school.

Not sure which option is right for you? Talk with your high school counselor about available courses and how they can fit into your academic plan.
