Paying Your Tuition

When you enroll in classes at State Fair Community College, you accept responsibility for paying all tuition and fees associated with your enrollment. To complete the enrollment process, you must either pay your balance in full, complete your financial aid requirements, or enroll in a payment plan by the published payment deadline.

Meeting your payment deadline helps ensure your classes remain secure and your student account remains in good standing.

Payment Deadlines and Account Holds

Summer 2027

11:59 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2027

Pay in full by cash, wire transfer, check, credit or debit card, OR complete financial aid requirements, OR enroll in a payment plan.

If tuition payment arrangements are not completed by the required deadline, a hold will be placed on your student account.

An account hold prevents you from:

  • Making schedule changes
  • Registering for future semesters
  • Receiving official transcripts

Students enrolled in a payment plan will remain unable to receive transcripts until all scheduled payments have been made and the account balance is paid in full.

If you are enrolled in a payment plan that is in good standing and need to register for the next semester, contact the Business Office. In some cases, a temporary hold release may be available.

A $25 nonrefundable enrollment fee is charged each semester for all payment plans.

Before You Enroll in a Payment Plan

If you've recently submitted your FAFSA, wait until SFCC has received and processed your application before selecting the FAFSA Pending Payment Plan.

If you enroll too early, you may need to:

  • Enroll in the Monthly Payment Plan first
  • Pay the Monthly Plan enrollment fee
  • Contact the Business Office later to switch to the FAFSA Pending Payment Plan once your financial aid has been processed

The Business Office cannot automatically make this change. Students must request it.

The Monthly Payment Plan is designed for students who are not receiving financial aid.

Benefits include:

  • Smaller monthly payments
  • More payment installments when you enroll early
  • Interest-free payments

The FAFSA Pending Payment Plan is available for students who have completed a FAFSA and are expecting financial aid.

This plan allows payments to be based on any remaining balance after anticipated financial aid has been applied.

To qualify, your FAFSA must already be received and processed by SFCC before you enroll.

To enroll:

  1. Log in to your Okta Dashboard.
  2. Select the Pay My Bill tile.
  3. Choose the Payment Plans tab.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete your enrollment.

Before enrolling, have the following information available:

  • Bank account information (for automatic payments), or
  • Credit or debit card information

If you do not have a bank account or credit card, prepaid credit cards or a checking account from a local bank or credit union may be used to cover the payment plan enrollment fee.

When Payment Plans Are Available

Payment plan enrollment generally opens:

  • June for Fall Semester
