Located in the Parkhurst Student Commons, the café serves a variety of meals and snacks prepared by Great Western Dining Service, making it easy to find something you'll enjoy every day.

Meal plans make dining on campus easy, convenient, and affordable. Whether you live on campus or commute to class, you'll enjoy delicious meals, unlimited portions, and great value at the SFCC Café in the Parkhurst Student Commons.

 

19-Meal Plan

Students living in the residence halls are required to participate in the 19-Meal Plan, which is included as part of the housing contract.

The 19-Meal Plan provides:

  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Friday
  • Brunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Unlimited servings from the residence hall serving line during meal periods
  • A daily grill special available as a meal exchange
  • Tax-free meals

With a variety of hot entrées, fresh salads, vegetarian options, sandwiches, and more, you'll always have plenty of choices.

 

5-Meal Rowdie Meal Card

Commuter students can save on campus dining with a 5-Meal Rowdie Meal Card for $50. This electronic card offers unlimited servings from the residence hall serving line at a discounted price compared to individual meal purchases.

Rowdie Cards:

  • Never expire
  • Can be purchased at the Cashier's Window in the Hopkins Student Services Center
  • Can also be purchased online through the 360u app

Premium meals and grab-and-go items are not included with the Rowdie Card.

 

Roadrunner Bucks

Roadrunner Bucks loaded onto your BLUECARD can also be used to purchase meals and other eligible items on campus, providing another convenient cash-free payment option.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up for a meal plan?

The 19-Meal Plan is automatically included with the residence hall contract. To purchase a 5-Meal Rowdie Meal Card or add Roadrunner Bucks, visit the Cashier's Window in the Hopkins Student Services Center or contact Café & Catering at (660) 596-7235.

 

How do I use my meal plan?

Simply present your BLUECARD or 5-Meal Rowdie Meal Card when you enter the dining area. There's no need to carry cash.

 

What if my BLUECARD is lost or stolen?

Report your lost card to the Business Office and Café & Catering as soon as possible so it can be deactivated. A replacement BLUECARD can be issued for a small fee.

SFCC Catering Request Form

Planning a meeting, celebration, or special event? Great Western Dining Service, the food service provider for SFCC's Sedalia campus, offers catering for both campus and community events. From breakfast meetings to receptions and banquets, our team is committed to providing delicious food, creative menu options, and outstanding service.

Catering for SFCC Employees & Student Organizations

To request catering for an on-campus event:

  1. Reserve your meeting space through Reserve It.
  2. Complete the Catering Request Form and email it to foodservices@sfccmo.edu at least five days before your event.
  3. Create a requisition in Experience for the estimated catering cost. The requisition must be approved at least four days before the event.
  4. Once approved, the Business Office will issue a purchase order. A purchase order number is required before catering can be confirmed.
  5. Contact the Director of Food Services at (660) 596-7235 with your final attendance count at least 72 hours before the event.

 

Catering for Community Organizations

Community groups hosting events on the SFCC campus are also welcome to use Great Western Dining's catering services.

To request catering:

  1. Reserve your meeting space by contacting Facilities Management at (660) 596-7200 or facilities@sfccmo.edu.
  2. Complete the Catering Request Form and email it to foodservices@sfccmo.edu at least five days before your event.
  3. Contact the Director of Food Services at (660) 596-7235 with your final attendance count at least 72 hours before the event.
  4. A 50% deposit is due before the event, with the remaining balance due immediately after the event.
