SFCC Alert is State Fair Community College's official emergency notification system, providing timely updates about campus closures, severe weather, and emergency situations. Powered by Rave Mobile Safety, SFCC Alert delivers important information directly to your mobile phone and email so you can stay informed wherever you are.

What Is SFCC Alert?

SFCC Alert is the college's emergency communication system used to notify students, employees, affiliates, and subscribers about situations that may affect the safety or operation of the college. Alerts are sent by text message and email.

SFCC Alert is used only for official college communications and emergency notifications. Your contact information is kept private and is never shared with advertisers.

 

What Types of Alerts Will I Receive?

SFCC Alert may be used to communicate:

  • Campus closures
  • Severe weather
  • Delayed openings or changes to campus operations
  • Emergency situations
  • Imminent safety threats affecting the college community

The college may also use the system to send other important college information on an opt-in, as-needed basis.

 

Who Is Automatically Enrolled?

Current students, employees, and affiliates with an active @sfccmo.edu or @student.sfccmo.edu email address are automatically enrolled in SFCC Alert.

If a mobile phone number is on file with the college, it will also be included in your emergency notification profile.

Users may manage and update their contact information through Experience, including adding:

  • Up to three mobile phone numbers
  • Up to three email addresses

 

Friends of SFCC

Community members, parents, alumni, and others who do not have an SFCC email address can also subscribe to SFCC Alert.

Friends of SFCC may:

  • Subscribe to receive emergency notifications
  • Update their contact information at any time
  • Unsubscribe whenever they choose

  • Manage your emergency notification preferences through Experience, where you can add or update your phone numbers and email addresses.

Friends of SFCC

  • If you subscribed as a Friend of SFCC, log in to the SFCC Rave site to update your contact information.
