Students can complete general education coursework and work toward an Associate of Arts (AA) degree at the Clinton campus.

The AA degree is designed for transfer to four-year colleges and universities and provides a strong academic foundation for a variety of bachelor's degree programs.

If a specific course is not available on campus during a particular semester, our team can help you find flexible alternatives through:

SFCC-Clinton offers healthcare education opportunities for students interested in entering or advancing within the nursing profession.

Programs available at the Clinton campus include:

  • Practical Nursing (PN) Program
  • Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program
  • Surgical Technology Program
  • Medical Assisting Program
  • Paramedic Training Program

Paramedic and LPN to RN Pathways

Licensed paramedics and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) interested in advancing to registered nurse (RN) status may be eligible to bridge into SFCC's ADN program.

Students pursuing this pathway may need to complete prerequisite coursework before admission. Applicants should submit:

  • Official transcripts
  • Proof of current licensure
  • Program application materials

While programs such as HVAC, Automotive Technology, and Agriculture are offered on SFCC's Sedalia campus, Clinton students can often complete many required general education courses locally before transitioning into their technical program.

Through a partnership with Central Methodist University (CMU), students attending SFCC-Clinton can continue their education beyond an associate degree without leaving the area.

CMU programs offered through the partnership are fully accredited, and CMU academic advisors are available on the Clinton campus Monday through Thursday or by appointment.

This partnership creates a seamless pathway from associate degree to bachelor's and graduate-level education.

Missouri Job Center

The Missouri Job Center maintains an office on the Clinton campus and is available Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Services may include:

  • Workforce training resources

Vocational Rehabilitation Services

Vocational Rehabilitation representatives hold office hours on campus each Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., providing support and resources for eligible individuals pursuing employment and educational goals.

SFCC-Clinton offers Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) services to help students build foundational skills and prepare for the High School Equivalency (HSE) exam.

These programs provide an opportunity for individuals to earn a credential that can lead to college enrollment, career advancement, and new educational opportunities.
