Students are placed into math courses based on prior coursework, placement testing, or guided self-placement to ensure the best chance of success. Developmental courses are available to help students build foundational skills but may not fulfill general education requirements.

All general education math courses at SFCC are part of the Core 42 curriculum and are guaranteed to transfer to Missouri public institutions. Students should always verify specific math requirements for their intended major or transfer institution.
