Build Your Future in Nursing

Whether your goal is to become a practical nurse, a registered nurse, or continue your education beyond SFCC, the Nursing program can help prepare you for the next step in your healthcare career. Students complete coursework and clinical experiences that prepare them to pursue nursing licensure and provide high-quality patient care. SFCC also maintains articulation agreements with many four-year colleges and universities, making it easier to transfer credits and continue your nursing education.

Our competency-based bi-level program prepares you to meet the requirements to become a licensed practical nurse (Year One), then transition seamlessly to associate degree nursing (Year Two) if you want to become a registered nurse. The associate degree nursing advanced placement supports transition from Licensed Practical Nurse or transition from Licensed Paramedic to registered nursing.
