Accreditation

CAHIIM Program of Distinction

In addition to reaffirming accreditation for the HIT program, CAHIIM has awarded the Program of Distinction designation to SFCC’s HIT program. This high honor is only awarded to a select group of exemplary health information management programs that demonstrate leadership, innovation, and a strong commitment to the Health Information Management Future Education Model.

 

Title IV and Licensure Information 

The State Fair Community College AAS in Health Information Technology/Medical Coding Program is designed to meet educational requirements for a Health Information Technology and Medical Coding professional license/certification required for employment as a Health Information Technologist/Medical C. Completion of the Health Information Technology/Medical Coder in ALL 50 STATES.
