Nursing
Nursing at SFCC
Our bi-level nursing program prepares you to meet the requirements to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (Year One), then transition seamlessly to associate degree nursing (year two of the program) if you want to become a Registered Nurse.
Advanced Placement (LPN-to-RN and Paramedic-to-RN option):
Our associate degree nursing advanced placement program (Year Two) supports transition from Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Paramedic to registered
nursing.

Degree Options
Whether your goal is to become a Licensed Practical Nurse, a Registered Nurse, or continue your education beyond SFCC, our nursing program can help prepare you for the next step in your healthcare career. Students complete coursework and clinical experiences that prepare them to pursue nursing licensure and provide high-quality patient care. SFCC also maintains articulation agreements with many four-year colleges and universities, making it easier to transfer credits and continue your nursing education.
