Whether you plan to transfer to a four-year music program or continue exploring your passion for music, the Music program provides opportunities to develop both your technical skills and artistic expression. Students receive individualized instruction, perform regularly in ensembles and recitals, and study the foundations of music in a supportive environment. The Associate of Fine Arts degree prepares students for continued study in a wide range of music-related fields and professions.

• Perform a recital each semester to build confidence and showcase your growth as a musician.
• Study music theory, aural training, music history, and music literature.
• Develop piano skills through class instruction or applied study.
• Perform in ensembles such as Chamber Choir, Contemporary Choir, Concert Band, and Jazz Band.
• Build leadership and conducting skills through ensemble participation and performance experiences.

• Prepare for transfer into bachelor's degree programs in music and related disciplines.
