KIDS COLLEGE – June 22-25
ML & RR Learner
Due to social restrictions of COVID-19, we are offering an online format for Kids College this year.
At Kids College, fun is our middle name! The program features unique activities in an exceptional learning environment.
Our teachers take fresh approaches that challenge students, make topics come alive and send kids back to school with new perspectives and an excitement for learning.
Classes are based on the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning system, which challenges students to learn and apply content and skills across the board with real-life projects that both use and create up-to-date discoveries.
Since it began in 2011, Kids College has grown each year; in 2019, more than 500 students were enrolled in more than 30 different classes.

Let Your Fingers Do the Talking
Do you want to be able to “talk” with your fingers and “listen” with your eyes? Signing is an important conversational life skill that can be learned at any age. This class will offer a variety of lessons and activities to introduce and teach sign language basics so that students will be able talk to those who are hearing impaired!
Marsha Campe, Instructor. $39 10a-11a/M-Th – Register Here
This class is all about Tasty Science. Cooking itself is really just chemistry. Heating, freezing, mixing and blending are all processes used in the laboratory and the kitchen. When we cook food, a myriad of different physical and chemical processes simultaneously take place to transform the ingredients (i.e. chemicals) involved. In this class, we will experiment with mixtures and solutions, and look at the physical and chemical changes to the ingredients in a recipe.

Creative Hand Lettering
Students will explore how to write in calligraphy and other creative lettering styles, sharpen their skills in cursive and expand their creative minds by creating their own written font! Different art media will be used to create beautiful letters, words, and phrases. We will learn about bounce lettering, mixing fonts, curling and block lettering and add interest and creativity to your letters and words!
