State Fair Community College will begin enrolling current and new students for spring classes on Oct. 30. Minimester classes will be held from Dec. 18 to Jan. 3, and spring semester will start Jan. 14. Classes are offered in Sedalia, Boonville, Clinton, Eldon, Lake of the Ozarks, Warsaw, Whiteman Air Force Base, and online. Go to www.sfccmo.edu/searchforclasses to view the schedule.

Minimester classes, also called interim classes, offer students a chance to take full-term classes in a short amount of time. Online minimester classes offered include Music Appreciation, Employment Strategies, Applied Wellness, and Introduction to the Field of Education. One hybrid class, Introduction to Chemistry with Lab, is offered on Lake of the Ozarks campus. Hybrid classes combine online and on-site instruction. Environmental Geology is offered on the Whiteman Air Force Base campus.

Deadline to enroll online for minimester classes is Dec. 11. Deadline to enroll for spring semester is Jan. 13. Twelve-week classes will be held between Jan. 29 and May 2; deadline to enroll is Jan. 28.

Sixteen week U.S. History Since 1877 and American/National Government classes will be offered in Warsaw at the high school. The U.S. History class will be 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, and American/National Government will be 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. Nathan B. Copling is the instructor.

Returning students should contact their navigators before enrolling to ensure they are selecting the classes they need to complete their certificates or degrees.
