Sedalia, Missouri  June 10, 2021  The LearningForce at State Fair Community College will offer a 15-hour Level 1 Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technical Training from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in July and in September. The July session will be held on 26, 28 and 30; the September session will be held 20, 22 and 24. Both sessions will be in Fielding Technical Center on the Sedalia campus. This workforce training enables manufacturing companies to develop highly-skilled and safety-minded employees. No electrical experience is required.   

SFCC’s The LearningForce provides customized Industrial Electrical Maintenance courses in short blocks of time to provide the best possible training solutions in a timely manner throughout the year. 

This industry-specific, hands-on industrial electrical maintenance training teaches safety procedures (lock out/tag out), alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) components, schematic interpretation, wiring diagrams, line diagrams, electrical logic, and safe working skills. Participants will learn troubleshooting skills and how to install, repair and maintain industrial electrical components.  

Cost is $799 per person and is eligible to be covered by a company’s individual Missouri One Start grand funds.
