SEDALIA—State Fair Community College and the Missouri Career Center are seeking area employers to share information and interact with potential employees at a Job Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on SFCC’s Sedalia campus.

The fair is partnering with the Missouri National Guard Family Program, and has set 9-10 a.m. as a priority hour for military personnel and their families to participate.

Early registration by Sept. 30 is $10 for one five-foot table and two chairs; the cost after Sept. 30 is $20. Registration will close on Oct. 12. Exhibitors may begin setting up at 8 a.m. on Oct. 25. A designated area will be available for attendees to complete applications and for exhibitors to conduct on-site interviews. Lunch will be provided.

“The Job Fair is a great opportunity to showcase businesses and organizations to SFCC students, military personnel and the community and to connect with people seeking jobs,” said Susan Nelson, SFCC Career and Transfer Services coordinator. “More than 60 employers participated last year, so we encourage employers to come and build positive relationships with potential employees.”

For more information or to register, contact Nelson at (660) 596-7306 or snelson9@sfccmo.edu by Oct. 12.
