SEDALIA—State Fair Community College is now enrolling for second eight-week classes that start March 21 on its campuses in Sedalia, Boonville, Clinton, Eldon, Lake of the Ozarks, and Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster as well as online.

Classes offered vary from location to location and range from accounting, agriculture, art, automotive, business, basic skills in reading, writing, and pre- and elementary algebra, college algebra, computer aided drafting, construction technology, criminal justice, earth science, English composition, geography, health occupations and information technology, and history to industrial electrical maintenance, literature, mathematics, music, networking, nursing, pharmacy technology, philosophy, psychology, radiologic technology, sociology, renewable energy, speech and theatre, student success, and wellness. Enrollment is open for a five-week Introduction to Mobile Applications that runs April 4 to May 6 on the Sedalia campus and for minimester classes (on-ground and online) that run May 16 to May 27. Minimester classes are held between semesters and offer students an opportunity to take a full-term class in a short amount of time.

Enrollment also is open for summer on-ground and online classes that run June 1 to July 27.

SFCC offers 40 degrees, 13 Professional Certificates and 22 Skills Certificates. The college offers more than 260 online classes, plus two complete degree programs online—an Associate of Arts degree and a Business Management degree.

Students also can take classes for programs offered at other SFCC locations.

Because of a partnership with Central Methodist University (CMU), students attending SFCC-Clinton also can earn Bachelor of Arts or Science degrees in Accounting, Applied Science in Management, Business, Child Development, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, General Studies, Middle School Education, Psychology, RN to BSN, Sociology, and Special Education and also can take CMU classes for personal or professional enrichment without seeking a degree.

Second eight-week classes offered at SFCC-WAFB include Managerial Accounting; Art Appreciation; Introduction to Business; Principles of Management; Introduction to Earth Sciences with lab; Foundations of English II; English Composition I and II; Medical Terminology I; U.S. History Since 1877; World Civilization after 1500; Introduction to Literature; Pre-, Elementary, Intermediate, and College Algebra; Living Religions; General Sociology; Elementary Spanish; Public Speaking; and Applied Wellness. Enrollment is open for a five-week Introduction to Mobile Applications class that is offered April 4 to May 6 on the Sedalia campus.

Enrollment also is open for summer minimester classes on the Sedalia campus and online. Minimester classes are held between May 16 and May 27 and offer students an opportunity to take full-term classes in a short amount of time. Summer enrollment is open at all locations; classes begin June 1 and end July 27.

Students also can take classes for programs offered at other SFCC locations.

To receive the special low tuition rate offered by SFCC to the military and their dependents, individuals must provide the college with certification of military, spouse, dependent or veteran status. Reserve and National Guardmembers also are eligible to receive the special rate.
