SEDALIA—Enrollment at State Fair Community College is underway for the fall semester that begins Aug. 22. Classes are offered in Sedalia, Boonville, Camdenton, Clinton, Eldon, Lake of the Ozarks, Warsaw, Whiteman Air Force Base, and online.

To serve students during enrollment from Aug. 1-26, Sedalia, Clinton and Lake of the Ozarks locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (except Aug. 11 and 15).

SFCC-Boonville will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. SFCC-Whiteman Air Force Base will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays.

All SFCC campuses will close at noon Aug. 11 for opening day of the Missouri State Fair and from 8-11 a.m. Aug. 15 for an all-college meeting.

In addition to 16-week day, evening and online classes that begin Aug. 22 and end Dec. 16, some classes are offered in eight-week and 12-week formats throughout the semester.

Eligible high school students can enroll in dual credit courses at SFCC, which means they can earn college credit at a lower cost while still in high school. More information is available at www.sfccmo.edu/dualcredit.

Prospective students may apply online at www.sfccmo.edu/admissions, email admissions@sfccmo.edu to schedule an appointment or go to the Student Services office in the Hopkins Center or any extended campus. Application for admission is free.

SFCC offers more than 65 degree and certificate programs in the arts and sciences, business and career and technical fields, plus an Associate of Arts degree for transfer to a four-year college; Associate of Fine Arts degrees in Music, Theatre or Art; an Associate of Arts in Teaching degree; and Associate of Science degrees in Chemistry or Engineering.

The college also offers a number of technical and health care programs and courses and more than 260 online classes, plus two complete degree programs online: an Associate of Arts degree and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management.

Because of a partnership between SFCC and Central Methodist University (CMU), students may earn bachelor’s degrees in accounting, business, psychology, child development, early childhood education, criminal justice, elementary education, sociology, and nursing through CMU on the Sedalia, Clinton and Lake of the Ozark campuses.

The college also has transfer agreements with 12 other four-year universities and dual admission agreements with CMU and the University of Central Missouri.
