State Fair Community College Student Success Navigator Abby Tribble has received the November Mentor of the Month award given by the college’s Alpha Lambda Omega chapter of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. The award was created to recognize faculty and staff who have positively impacted students through their advising, guidance and support. Student Noel Jerrell nominated Tribble because she “is very supportive and goes beyond the call of duty to equip students with helpful resources.” Students and employees can submit nominees to Phi Theta Kappa officers who select the winners. Phi Theta Kappa is a worldwide honor society with chapters in more than 1,300 two-year colleges.
