Add a Course(s)<\/h2>\n

During online enrollment before the semester starts, you can add courses to your schedule online in the SFCC portal. Some courses may require approvals<\/a>. Enrollment will close beginning the first day of each part of term, i.e. 16-week, first 8-week, 12-week, second 8-week, and dual credit. The dates are published on the Academic Dates and Deadlines<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After online enrollment closes, you may submit a request for enrollment using the online Late Registration Request  found in the portal. Class attendance guidelines remain in effect if you enroll late for a course.<\/p>\n

You may not add an interim (minimester) course after the date published on the Academic Dates and Deadlines or enroll in more than one course during an interim (minimester) part of term.<\/p>\n

Drop a Course(s)<\/h2>\n

During online enrollment before the semester starts or until the official last day to Drop a Course(s) During online enrollment before the semester starts or until the official last day to drop as published on the Academic Dates and Deadlines, you can drop a course from your schedule online in the mySFCC portal. Approval is not required to drop a course.<\/p>\n

If you have a hold on your account the request to drop should be sent to add-drop@sfccmo.edu<\/a>; include your name, student ID number, CRN, course number\/name, and instructor name.<\/p>\n

All hours from course drops will count as attempted hours for course repeats, determining eligibility to continue enrollment, to receive financial aid and scholarships and for Residence Hall and student-athlete status.<\/p>\n

Courses dropped before or during the 100 percent refund period will not appear on your transcript. Courses dropped after the 100 percent refund period will appear on a transcript with a grade of W.<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT<\/strong>: Notifying your instructor that you wish to drop and\/or are no longer attending class is not enough to officially drop the course. If you do not officially drop by the date published on the Academic Dates and Deadlines, you will most likely receive a grade of F for the course.<\/p>\n

Withdraw From all Courses<\/h2>\n

To withdraw from classes entirely, you\u2019ll need to complete the Student Withdrawal form<\/strong> in Experience >> Enroll >> I need to… > Withdraw from all classes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You won\u2019t be permitted to withdraw from your last class or withdraw from all classes without completing this form. A hold on your account will not prevent you from submitting this request.<\/p>\n

Auditing a Course<\/h2>\n

Some students choose to audit a course.  Auditing a course means that you have chosen to enroll in a course without the benefit of earning credit.  The course will not count towards a degree or certificate and you will be responsible for all associated tuition and fees. <\/p>\n

To request permission to audit a course, you\u2019ll need to complete the Audit Request<\/a> form<\/p>\n
