State Fair Community College’s The LearningForce will offer an Introduction to Drones class from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, in Potter-Ewing Agriculture Building, Room 404, on the Sedalia campus.

Instructor Brad Driskill will offer guidance on purchasing a drone, operating it safely and Federal Aviation Administration rules for operating a drone. Participants will receive classroom instruction and hands-on practice.

Cost is $79 per person. Driskill will hold the same class in two sessions from 4-6:30 p.m. Oct. 9 and 10. For more information and to register online, go to, call (660) 530-5822 or email
