A Year with Frog and Toad
November 18, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm
Members of the State Fair Community College Theatre Arts program will present the children’s musical “A Year with Frog and Toad” Nov. 13-17 for area elementary students and at 2 p.m. Nov. 18 for the public in the Stauffacher Theatre on the Sedalia campus.
After waking from hibernation, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn valuable life lessons along the way. The two friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special.
Part vaudeville, part make believe but all charm, this story demonstrates a friendship that endures throughout the seasons of life. This jazzy, upbeat play, based on books by Arnold Lobel, was a Broadway hit and nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The show is rated G for all ages. All tickets are $5. Tickets can be purchased online, call the Stauffacher Box Office at (660) 530-5814 from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or email email@example.com. Wheelchair seating is available upon request.
