Dental Hygiene Class of 2018

State Fair Community College is pleased to announce that 100 percent of the students in the Dental Hygiene Class of 2018 have passed the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination.  First row, from left, Mekayla Martin, Kingdom City; Madison Howard, Windsor; BreAnna Peck, Green Ridge; and Kylie Fossinger, Warrensburg. The program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and provides hands-on experience in patient assessment and treatment, from cleaning teeth and looking for signs of oral disease to educating patients in its Dental Hygiene Clinic in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia campus. Caryn Tierney is the program director. Renee Fiquet is an instructor, and Christal Day is administrative assistant.
