This page is dedicated to informing stakeholders about the public health and safety initiatives, including COVID-19, on the campus of State Fair Community College and the communities it serves.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Face Coverings (masks)<\/h4>\n

After a lengthy and detailed deliberation that included declining infection rates, other<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>trends across the college\u2019s service region<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>(and throughout the state)<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>and other COVID-19-related data,<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>State Fair Community College COVID-19 Response Team voted, effective Oct. 18, 2021<\/strong>, to<\/strong><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>end the mask mandate<\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/span><\/span>at all campus locations except for SFCC-Whiteman Air Force Base<\/em><\/span><\/span>. SFCC-WAFB students, employees and guests are under the COVID-19 protocols set by the base administration that includes the wearing of masks at this time. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nWhile infection rates may be declining, safety remains a priority, which is why everyone<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>on <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>campus<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>is still asked to<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>be mindful of their physical space<\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/span><\/b><\/span>with regards to others<\/span><\/b><\/span>, continue to<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>wash their hands thoroughly<\/span><\/b><\/span>,<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>apply hand sanitizer liberally<\/span><\/b><\/span>,<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>cough\/sneeze into their elbows<\/span><\/b><\/span>,<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>and<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>stay home if they<\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/span><\/b><\/span>are unsure in any way about their health or exposure to COVID-19<\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/span><\/b><\/span>or other infectious diseases.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nAll individuals who test positive for COVID-19,<\/strong> <\/strong>are expected to<\/strong> <\/strong>self-isolate<\/strong> <\/strong>and seek medical attention per CDC recommendations<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n
