For anyone interested in learning more about SFCC
These tours at 2 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays are for individuals, families and groups of students (10 maximum). Prospective students will learn more about SFCCs programs and services and take a longer campus tour, including the Potter-Ewing Agriculture Building and Residence Hall. Faculty and/or navigators will provide a brief introduction (less than 10 minutes). Plan to spend at least an hour and a half with SFCC representatives. Tours leave promptly from Student Services in the Hopkins Student Services Center.
Roadrunner Preview Days
For high school juniors, seniors and their families
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. you will get a chance to see all SFCC has to offer by interacting with faculty and staff and meeting your navigator! Lunch will be provided. Faculty will provide interactive 55-minute activities that showcase their different clusters, including Arts and Communication; Business and Information Technology; Natural Resources and Agriculture; Health Services; Human Services; and Industrial Technology and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math education).

Program Open House
For prospective students interested in a particular program
SFCC will hold open houses for various academic programs each semester. You will have a chance to explore labs and classrooms, meet with faculty and navigators and learn about the admissions and financial aid process.
Program Coordinators: Admissions and Outreach will be happy to help host an open house for your program or division each semester. Events may be scheduled during the day, evenings or Saturdays. Contact Michele Hunolt to make arrangements.
Career Exploration Days
For school counselors and their students ready to explore careers
Visitors can tour the campus and participate in hands-on activities led by SFCC staff and faculty. Activities will last no longer than 30 minutes. Tours will be held monthly; visits will last from about 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Shadow a Student Program
For prospective students interested in seeing a day in the life of an SFCC student
Prospective students will spend a half-day shadowing an SFCC student who has a similar area of academic interest. The prospective student will accompany the student on his or her regular schedule, including attending classes, eating lunch, studying, attending tutoring sessions, or participating in activities, intramurals, etc.
